Normally I like to go in order on a blog post, I feel like it tells the story a little more but we’re gonna throw the rules out the window today because this first picture makes my heart skip a beat! I can’t tell you how much I love it! I have one almost just like it with him smiling but I love this one more….I don’t know why, I just do!

I’ve been waiting a very long time to get this guy in front of my camera! He’s turning 10 soon! He’s one of my best friend’s kiddos and I’m not sure when he grew up…seems like yesterday all of our kids were starting Kindergarten! *sniff, sniff*

what a good lookin’ kid! i’m not sure that anyone would believe that these were done on the worst weather day so far this year and that you had to do a raindance to make it stop for a minute to snap away…I know it’s evident that it was wet (especially by the rain drops on his shirt and those wet shoes) but that doesn’t tell the whole story! Great job, as always!!!

You know when you meet those people that you immediately hit it off with? You’re lives have most likely traveled very different paths but somewhere they intersect and you just have this feeling that they’ll be a part of your life for quite a while. Well, I have a feeling that this family is going to be a part of my life for quite a while. I have such a great admiration for Britney and her calm, strong, laid back nature. I suppose having a teenager and three children that are 3 and and under will do that to you.Gerad and I were talking while Britney took short catnaps and he told me (sorry if I’m selling you out Gerad
) that Britney was the smartest person he knows and he went on to tell me about all the way she amazes him and what a great respect he has for her. You could see it in the way he touches her and how proud he was watching her give birth to his third daughter. Watching the birth of Allison and getting to be a part of this monumental day was such a huge honor. Britney and Gerad, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your priceless day!
